The talks of the Lie Seminar vary from topics of current Lie theory to topics of algebra and geometry on which Lie theory has had a certain impact (vertex algebras, Hopf algebras, quantum grups, etc.). As a general rule, visiting professors who work on the same area are usually invited to speak in the seminar. At the same time, researchers of the group exhibit here their latest results.
